Questline Stuck...again - Guild Wars Forums

I have a Prophecies monk, lvl 20, lvl 7 sunspear, lvl 2 lightbringer....

I have no active quests...I have completed the Elona campaign and am trying to go back through to get the protector title. However...it won't let me do the missions on noob island, Jokanur/Blacktide.

I have just completed the primary quest "a land of heroes". When I completed the quest, it brought me back to Sunspear Great Hall. I rec'd my reward...but cannot find a SINGLE quest on noob island. I have no quests in Kamadan, SGH, Champ. Dawn, Astralarium, Jokanur, or Blacktide. I even checked all the NPC's outside those towns...nada.

What do I have to do to activate those towns as missions?

On a side note...it would be nice if there was a guy we could go to, npc type ingame, to help us out on our primary quest line. This is about the 3rd time that my Elona questlines have hit a dead end and have had to come here for help.

you have to run there, grab your slf a map of Elona with the towns and outpost, and simply run there, after that, you can just hop in a misson.

The first misson id throught the training field by the way

Not really seeing that the op's monk is from tyria. All you need to do is take your monk down there, and talk to the mission guy and you in. It will be a re-enactment mission, just like when you take your tyria character to do those missions on Canthar's noob island.

For a foreign Character in Nightfall all the gates to the towns on Istan island are open as a courtesy. You only need to go to the mission town and speak to the NPC offering the mission. For Chabek Villiage mission - you go into the Chirrur Fields training area - there is an NPC right at the back of the area where command training is done - at the gate. He will let you into Chabeck Villiage and you can do the mission then. Don't forget that missions in nightfall are activated by talking to the mission NPC (green circle with swords thru it over the NPC's head) - and not by the "enter mission" button as in other campaigns.

As for the main quest arc - I cannot access guild wikki for some reason at the moment - but the quest listing will tell you exactly who gives you the following quest on the quest arc - I think you may be at the point where you need to go into the consulate and speak to the person in there who will send you thru to Consulate Docks for the mission to cross over to the mainland. However - I am not sure of this.

Guild wikki has a really good quest listing - which details the quest arcs and the location and name of the NPC who gives you the next quest on your arc. It is easy to copy these lists and paste, then print out as a quick reference while you are playing.

I see you mention that you have finished the campaign - that means that you will not have a primary quest on that character for Elona again - you have finished the story arc that provides the primary quests and now you just do what ever you want to in Elona. Another thing about quests - you character is not native to Elona so will not get any quests at all on the starter Istan Island. The quests that are available for foreign characters on the island are only the primaries that took you to consulate Docks for the crossover to the mainland. You would have finished those when you first arrived in Elona from Tyria. So you will not find any quests at all on the island now.

Any quests before the first mission you do after crossing over, are not available to a character not born in that continent. Just go to Jokanur Diggings, Blacktide Den, and Chahbek Village, the doors will be open and u just enter the mission... did you even try to do this, or did you just quit b/c no one told u where to go? lol

It sounds like the OP is at Jokanur's and Black Tide Den, but the mission start people are telling him he can't enter the mission.

Assuming you do have the required NPCs in your party and it's still not working, try the following:

First, go to the Sun Docks (NOT the Consulate Docks) outside Kamadan. Talk to Seamarshal Bendro and see if that helps.

If that doesn't help, retrace the Sunspears in Kryta quest. http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Sunspears_in_Kryta

If that doesn't help, and if you have Factions, try doing the Sunspears in Cantha quest. http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Sunspears_in_Cantha

I've had this problem before, and it seemed to be because I needed to do both quests instead of just one of them.

after getting to ss great hall , you get The time is nigh mission .. se kormir at ch fields , talk to her (important step 8) { i forgot this 1ce} after her speach , the off to the consulate docks.. and continue on your way.

His monk is from Tyria the normal quests on Istan are not available to him. And he said he completed the Elona campaign. Op, go read Friday's post, all the details are in it.
